Services & General Information

Simple Elegance Catering requires payment by cash, check or *credit card* immediately upon arrival at event site.   Food will not be unloaded and set up until  payment is rendered.  There are no exceptions to this new policy.  We apologize for any inconvenience this may cause.

an additional 3.5% processing fee.*






Simple Elegance Catering REQUIRES a non-refundable booking deposit of $500 for Weddings, and May and December events.  In some cases, based on the complexity of the menu, an additional deposit equaling 50% of total anticipated bill will be required no less than 7 days prior to the event. All deposit monies will be applied to the final invoice.  Payment in full of final invoice is required on day of event by cash, check or credit card.  



Simple Elegance Catering offers this menu as a GUIDE to your perfect event. We welcome requests for special dietary needs or any fare not on our menu. We will make every effort to accommodate those requests at no additional charge.  Some exceptions may apply.  All menu items are subject to market availability.  In an emergency situation, we reserve the right to substitute any item(s) with another of comparable value and style.  Menu pricing is subject to change without notice as market prices fluctuate.
















Simple Elegance Catering prices include only service/food station linens and skirting when not provided by Hosting venue.  All rental fees for required extra Linen, China, Glass, Silver and Special Equipment will be at Client’s expense.  Payment in full for all Rentals, Damage Waiver and Delivery Fees is required 72 hours prior to event.



Simple Elegance Catering invoices will display a suggested gratuity to final bill for all parties over 20 persons and, depending on venue conditions and event duration, may charge up to an additional $250 service fee.  Client will be notified of service fees prior to booking.


Simple Elegance Catering will gladly provide references, licensing and insurance information, upon written request.

Simple Elegance Catering does not hold a Virginia ABC (Alcohol Beverage Control) License. Events serving alcoholic beverages may be required to procure an ABC Banquet Permit.  This permit and its fee is the responsibility of the client.  Simple Elegance Catering offers TIPS and/or T.O.A.S.T.-VA certified bartenders for an additional hourly fee.  Simple Elegance Catering will not provide service of alcoholic beverages if a required permit is not procured and presented for display during the event in accordance with VA-ABC Regulations.  If Simple Elegance Catering is not hired to provide bartender services, client is responsible for bar-related trash gathering and removal from venue -- this includes table bussing, bar clean-up/breakdown and clean-up of any beverage spills/breakage for the duration of the event.
